ras_mRailway Air Services (RAS) was a British airline formed in 1934 by four railway companies  (the “Big Four”: London Midland & Scottish, London & North Eastern, Great Western Railway and Southern Railway) and Imperial Airways. The airline was a domestic airline operating routes within the United Kingdom linking up with Imperial’s services.

Vu ce jour sur l’aérodrome de Glisy (Amiens), le “De Havilland DH-84A Dragon 3 G-ECAN” qui servait avant la seconde guerre mondiale à la Railway Air Services. La Railway Air Services fut créée par les “Big Four”, les quatre grandes compagnies britanniques, en 1934 afin d’assurer une continuité de service aérien avec l’ensemble de l’empire britannique.
